I bought this dress with the intention of sharing it with someone on Lucky Sweater. While it’s too short for me, I knew one of you on here would appreciate it! It was miscategorized by an AI bot on a bottom-of-the-barrel resale site, a true pearl before swine. Or maybe the sartorial equivalent of my dog Rufus, who was sold for $5 in an Alabama Walmart parking lot. The site has it listed as being in poor condition, but I noticed it still had the tags on, and sure enough, the dress arrived as a gem. There are a few tiny rust-looking spots on the white collar, but they come off with a little soap and water, so please forgive the wet spots in the pictures. Batsheva sizing is completely batshit, and this is marked as a size 20, though it fits the same way another Batsheva dress in size 12 did. The embroidered gathering in the bust makes it very flexible, with an unstretched bust of 22 that stretches all the way to 30. The dress also has pockets, and frankly, the more I write about it, the more tempted I am to keep it.
