Vintage Tricots St Raphael for Saks Fifth Avenue Sweater. SZ XL but vintage so go by measurements. Made in Uruguay with nice thick pure new wool. Such a warm, cozy sweater in great earthy colors (you can even flip it inside out to wear because it’s such a cool pattern on the interior - see pic). This Saks logo was used from 1973 to 1996 and Tricots St Raphael started in 1974. My best guess is this sweater is from the late 80s/early 90s (the measurements vs actual size I think rules out oversized grunge 90s so pre-1992 😂). Pair with sweatpants for a very JFK Jr in Hyannis look (so many good style pics of him - and Carolyn Bessette - in patterned thick wool sweaters and sweats 😍). Excellent condition.
