I bought these funky, unusual birkis for comfiness during long days at work standing on my feet. And these deliver! But I rarely wore them, and always with socks, so they are in great shape. There's a little shmutz on the bottom of the soles. They're surprisingly heavy - the sole is some kind of dense cork.
