Psychic Outlaw Quilt Coat OS

Brooke: this is a gorgeous coat, brought back to life! I received it in very rough shape, and gave it about 20 hours of machine and (mostly) hand work to restore it. I used era-appropriate feedsack fabric from my stash to patch where needed. There are visible zig zag stitches here and there but they add to the charm. I have close ups of the areas where I did the most noticeable work. Also- I sewed some green fabric down the front placket to make the front quilt pattern more symmetrical because the symmetry was bugging me, lol. I used pink thread because I love the contrast, and the color palette reminds me so much of State the Label. Would love to trade for another quilty item! The first 10 photos are mine and show how it looks now. The later ones are from the original lister. It weighs 3 pounds, and the quilt is soft and floppy. Comes from an odor and pet free home! OG: Well Loved Quilt Coat that I commissioned from an antique 1920s flour sack quilt that sat for years in my booth at the antique mall. This needs work, the fabric is delicate and has quite a few holes. I patched a fair number a few years ago, but it has gotten a few more since then and as I just gently washed it, it has acquired a few more. Please see photos for details. Ill probably end up fixing this eventually, but just don't have the time at the moment, so I thought I'd offer it up on here.
