Gifting a WIP! Was making these shorts for my husband, from the Twig + Tale Shore Pants pattern (listing screenshot included). Turns out I picked a couple sizes too big, but seeing as handmade plus sizes are so hard to find, I’d rather gift these along and just make him a new pair. These have been finished with the exception of sewing down the elastic and closing the channel - I’m happy to leave them as-is so you can get a custom fit with the elastic, or finish them for you. They are sized to fit a 54 inch full hip - the waist size is easily adjusted with the waist elastic and can fit a pretty wide range. Finished measurements included. Made from a 69/40 poly/cotton tablecloth as a test fabric, but I think it will soften up lovely with wash and make a nice low-wrinkle garment. Seams are all straight stitched + serged, and mostly topstitched down. Just asking for shipping cost covered, ideally - can potentially cover myself as well.
