Top in Constellation (needs mending)

A supersoft lightweight doublegauze featuring natural patterned motifs on a black background. I’m second owner and received this in perfect condition but the last time I washed it it got damaged in the wash (perhaps got caught with a bra hook? Not sure!). I’ve photographed the area, which is on the rear right side hem. There is a gnarly run in the top black gauze (not really a hole as it does not go through and you can see the inner cream color fabric is mostly intact). I just don’t have the sewing skills to fix this. I thought about just using an iron-on patch 🤪 but this is probably a relatively easy mend for someone with sewing skills and I’d rather pass it on. Besides this small issue, it’s perfect and awesome!
