Flight pants in green painted camo (dyed)

This project was a real labor of love to create the green camo pants of my dreams! I bought these in the pink color (shown in pics), then dyed them using fiber reactive dye to be a really beautiful forest green, using a custom dye mix I created myself. I’ve been doing fiber reactive dyeing for 5+ years and it’s a labor-intensive process using soda ash as a fixative, powdered dyes, a ton of salt and lots of stirring, but it results in beautiful, rich colors that don’t bleed or fade, and effectively cover other colors. The thread often doesn’t hold dye as on these, so the stitching is still white. I’m really happy with how these turned out and I wore and loved them for a few years but I’m trying to reduce my wardrobe for a big move and seek out a few ISOs, and I haven’t worn them as much lately, so I’m tentatively listing these but please forgive me if I’m a little thoughtful about trades for these xo
