Vintage 70s 80s Giorgio Sant’Angelo (bohemian Studio 54 favorite designer) High Waisted Slight Balloon Shaped Pleated Linen Pants

Vintage Giorgio Sant’Angelo Pleated Pants. These have a high waist subtle balloon shape that tapers at the leg. Similar color/vibe to the Ozma linen trousers. Giorgio Di Sant’Angelo was an Argentinian designer who was part of the Studio 54 scene and known for his earthy bohemian women’s fashions (these pants are modeled after traditional gaucho pants from his home country). I cut out the lining because I wanted them to drape better (see pics) and because of this back pocket is not functional but front pockets are. One leg seam is loose but easy fix if you can sew. No other major flaws. Vintage so see pics for measurements. Note: these are small in the waist but i went to a tailor and was told because the hip is so generous that fabric can be added to both sides of the waist to give it a few extra inches. Ultimately decided to unload because i have a pair of similar pants but if you need extra waist room, there are options.
