My partner and I create letterpress prints under the name Snakebird Press. This print was made on a 1947 Vandercook 219 Proof Press using a combination of vintage type and hand carved linocut. It is a line from Mary Oliver's poem "The Bleeding Heart." "Most things that are important, have you noticed, lack a certain neatness." Size is 5" x 7" for easy framing!
