Tie waist dress
Me MadeDon’t want to buy it? This piece is open for trade too — swapping happens in the app.
Silk dress from a 1970’s pattern (I think Butterick but don’t quote me.) The neckline turns into the underbust ties, so it’s very free-sized with an A-line body. The measurements that really make it a small or medium are the shoulders and bicep. Silk fabric is gorgeous and vivid, I remember buying it at Diana Fabrics in the NYC garment district and just loving it. It’s quite lightweight but so busy it’s not too sheer.
