Bisque Shorts

Me: note the updated waist measurement — I changed out the elastic. It could be adjusted smaller again if you prefer. These are gorgeous and the fit is great, the color just doesn’t quite work in my wardrobe. Previous: Fabric is premium, sewing is pro. I love these shorts, but they're just a little too tight around my waist for comfort! I think they'd probably be best for 26-28" waist, but the leg openings are super generous for a range of sizes. Will alter the waistband elastic eventually, if I don’t find a trade. Original maker: Vivian Shao Chen’s Bisque shorts in a sandwashed cotton canvas from Blackbird Fabrics (color is Bluestone). I loved sewing this pattern but am not much of a shorts person and haven’t reached for these often. They have a high elastic waist (which stretches comfortably to 17.5”), pockets, front pleats, back darts, and a nice roomy leg opening that makes them super comfortable and easy to wear. The pockets are lined in a lightweight white cotton. These are in great shape and I imagine this fabric will only get better as it’s broken in!
