This jacket was a lot of sewing firsts for me, so it's not perfect but I'm proud of how it turned out. The lining is a vintage plaid fabric I bought on Etsy and the outer shell is a vintage corduroy I got on Lucky Sweater. The fit is meant to be more of a street wear style, boxy and cropped,with oversized pockets and wide sleeves. I like rolling up the sleeves to show off the plaid detail in the lining. I love love love the color combinations in this jacket but the fit isn't quite my style. This was my first time sewing in a split zipper (I also had to shorten the zipper so there is very minor fraying) and making a fully lined garment (slight puckering at armpits) see photos. Only worn a couple times.
