Jane blouse

I love this top but it's just a smidge tight in the shoulders for me. Prior owner: This is the Ready to Sew Jane blouse, size 44, made up in the softest double gauze from Atelier Brunette. I adore this top and am very sad to part with it, but after a few wears had to admit to myself that it doesn’t work on my broad-backed frame—when I move around in it, I end up putting too much stress on the back seam. I went back and reinforced it so it should hold up well for you! The size 44 is meant for a 100 cm bust measurement, which is just over 39”. (I am a little bigger so should’ve known!) The construction of this blouse is so cool—the front folds over on itself so both the front and the back sides of the fabric are revealed. The main body is just one piece, joined in the back. I thought a lot about which scale of gingham to use where as I was making it. I love the little peter pan collar. The seams are finished by serger.
