Wool Coat

I really love this coat, but unfortunately it’s too large and such a great piece I would feel bad cutting into it to fit me. *only hung for photo* Original owner: Lovely coat I purchased from the LA Eileen Fisher concept store, The Fisher Project. Not sure if it's still there because I was there before the pandemic, but feel like I never wear this enough and it might better suit someone else! I love the fabric/color - not sure what it's called...marled? If someone knows and wouldn't mind putting in the chat for my own education, I'd appreciate it! I love the zipper too, it's very solid and assists the edgy, modern, geometric shape. I think when I tried it on I was attracted to the boxy/flowy nature, but every time I try to wear it, it just feels big on me. I think that could be the style, but truthfully it might fit someone better who wears maybe a large. I'm a small/medium, and like thighs to drape, but this felt a little like it was falling off, while still being so cozy and comfy. Maybe that's a look some other S/M wearers like!
