Cotton velvet pants

These pants manage to be dressy, comfortable, polished, and cozy all at once. They have a really cool tapered shape and a hook closure that creates a crossover-effect waist, but the elastic in the back allows for ease. I’ve worn them dressed up with a more fitted sweater and dressed down with an oversized men’s shirt and they look great both ways. There is a rubbed area of the crotch where the velvet has been worn off, but the underlying fabric is thick and fully opaque (see pic - my hand is behind the fabric and not visible).
