I purchased this necklace secondhand to wear to a wedding this spring I don’t feel attached to it. I like it because it’s chunky but super lightweight. I think it’s made out from recycled sari silk, each “bead” is firm inside but definitely filled with some type of textile (maybe more silk), there are 15 “beads” and it’s an adjustable length based on how you tie the ends. There is a random pattern of light canary yellow yellow dots woven into the fabric surface. It feels like it could be dated anywhere between early 2000s to the 80s.
